How this estimate works

Every range comes from public Japanese pricing: agency price pages, media owners’ rate cards, trade-show organisers’ exhibitor fees and industry articles. We record the source, its date and what it covers.

Each activity is calculated on its own and then added up. An agency management fee is added once, on the costs it normally applies to. We don’t add it twice.

Where public pricing is too thin to support a number, we say “custom quotation required” instead of guessing. Those items are never counted as zero.

Editorial coverage on TV, in magazines or online can’t be bought, and no estimate here buys it. Screens, station and train advertising are paid advertising.

English results are calculated in Japanese yen and shown in US dollars at the European Central Bank reference rate (via Frankfurter), with the rate date. If the rate is unavailable, results are shown in yen.

This is a non-binding estimate of typical Japanese agency pricing, not a quotation from Gloture. Actual costs depend on campaign scope, creator rates, media availability, production requirements and timing.

What is priced, and what needs a quotation

Priced from public evidence

  • Product PR (press release, outreach, full campaign, launch PR)
  • YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and X creator fees by tier, format and number of creators, plus the agency fee once
  • Creator sample handling and seeding coordination
  • Small, standard and demo press events
  • Trade show PR, organiser space fee, booth build and staff
  • Pop-up venue, build and staff
  • Shibuya screens, station, train and digital out-of-home media

Custom quotation (not enough public pricing)

  • TV outreach (usually success-fee based; editorial airtime can’t be bought)
  • Media interview coordination on its own
  • Crowdfunding PR outside the launch phase
  • Large press conferences and large custom booths
  • Creators above 500K followers, Flexible / recommend, X campaign promotions
  • Media sampling, loan programmes, experience campaigns
